These are challenging times for all of us. Our economy, our moral values and the future prosperity of our families are all under siege. This is not the time to stand down. We must stand together and confront our challenges head on. More than ever we need leaders who aren't afraid to make the tough decisions and do what's best for the people who elect them. I pledge myself as a relentless warrior in the defense of taxpayers in Franklin, Warren and West St. Louis Counties. It is more important than ever that our elected officials ensure that every tax dollar sent to Jefferson City is spent wisely and efficiently. That is why I want to be the Senator for the people of Missouri's 26th District.
At a time when government has left some of us disappointed and disillusioned; it is my goal to work as hard as I can to earn your trust. You have the right to expect competent leaders in Jefferson City. I'll put the wisdom and common sense I've gained from my years of experience in the military, in business and government to work for you. As a Marine combat pilot in Vietnam I faced down the enemy almost every day. I've been shot at for real, so there is not much in the state capital that will make me back down. In business I played a vital role in making sure multi billion dollar taxpayer supported projects came in on time and on budget. In Missouri State Government I stood up for our Veterans and wouldn't accept shortcuts when it came to homeland security and disaster preparedness issues. With your help I will continue my mission to serve. I humbly ask for your support and your vote when you choose your next State Senator.
